FFL for online order high cap mags?

Can anyone suggest a good FFL with a reasonable transfer cost in central/ north OC?

It will come with a 30 round magazine. Can the online vendor ship tot the FFL and they convert or excahange it for a 10 round?

Is it legal to have high cap magazines that are limited to 10 like 10/20 or 10/30?

No cannot import large cap. No such thing as high cap mag under ca law. Have blocked out of state or provide 10 round from here.

Have the seller send it without the mag.

OC Firearms has a high cap mag permit and will block your mags for a reasonable price. I think the transfer fee is around $60

That stinks, but these are ok?

Can't the FFL modify the 30 round ones?

Only if they have a high capacity mag permit

When you have the BB installed at a shop out-of-state, have them swap out the 30 round mag for a 10 rounder or have it sent without mags

They said they wouldn't swap them out so they would have to remove

I haven't done this, but if it is something where a 10 round limiting block is easily purchased for, you ask them if you could provide them with a block and tube of epoxy and have them block it before shipment. I'm guessing they won't be interested, but they might go for it.

Most FFL's have a high capacity mag permit..... Whether not they want to deal with you is another animal all together

How many mags are you talking about?
IF only one, don't bother over $15.
IF more than a few.....have them mailed to a relative out of town.
