I'm in West Covina and my order of a scope mounting kit never came. Can anyone help me mount my scope up really quick. Came a long way to shoot with a friend and need to get this thing leveled before morning.

I just put my rifle on a gun rack; use a bubble level to make sure both the rifle and the scope are level; and tighten the screws. Am I doing it wrong all this time?

I'm just trying to avoid buying anything since I have it all at home already. I was hoping someone had those little magnets and a torque wrench here in town so I can do it right the first time.
