BulllllllllcjiiitttttttOriginally posted by Jimi JahI punch paper only because it is illegal to punch people.Originally posted by elpaisa1I think flatulence is a more serious crime. I think it should be a misdemeanor with a 1000 dollar fine or 6 months of jail. It should be a felony if done near an open flame.

Angry? Upset? You've been trolled.
Although The Boston Tribune (like the Baltimore Gazette) sounds like a real news outlet, it appears to be a new front for hoax purveyor Associated Media Coverage, a fake news site that typically spreads fabrications about laws or statutes that would affect a specific subset of the population. Although many fake or "satire" news sites include disclaimers informing readers their content is fabricated, Associated Media Coverage does not.
Previous Associated Media Coverage falsehoods designed to agitate specific groups of people included an impending motorcycle curfew in March 2016, a motorcycle speed ban in August 2016, a FDA e-juice ban in mid-2016, a looming "two pet maximum" ordinance in several jurisdictions (leading many households to believe they would be forced to rehome beloved pets), and a 50-state ban on open carry.
Associated Media Coverage further expanded its scope into more generally upsetting (yet humorless) fake news items, such as claims that a transgender bathroom controversy-related shooting resulted in someone's death (a story that went up during nationwide debate over the issue), Casey Anthony planned to open a home daycare center, and that a dead baby was found in a Walmart DVD bin.Revolvers are not pistols
Calling a revolver a "pistol" is like calling a magazine a "clip", calling a shotgun a rifle, or a calling a man a woman.pistol nouna handgun whose chamber is integral with the barrel

That entire article is literally fact-free, and the only link in it goes to the front page of CNN.com.
Plus the "Boston Tribune's" contact e-mail is a Gmail account.
What could possibly have suggested to you that the story is fake?Originally posted by cockedandglockedGetting called a DOJ shill has become a rite of passage around here. I've certainly been called that more than once - I've even seen Kes get called that. I haven't seen Red-O get called that yet, which is very suspicious to me, and means he's probably a DOJ shill.Comment

Read. Don't be rubes.Specifics have yet to be publicly released, however, multiple state representatives have acknowledged that their states were offered additional federally-funded incentives in return for their participation in implementing the ban.

It was not a threat. It was an exaggerated response to an uncompromising stance. I was taught never to make a threat unless you are prepared to carry it out and I am not a fan of carrying anything. Even watching other people carrying things makes me uncomfortable. Mainly because of the possibility they may ask me to help.Comment
