Gun Sales Set Records in September

More background checks were recorded in September than the previous month. Though August 2016 was the best August on record for NICS checks, it was also the low point for the year, with 1,853,815 checks. This September saw the largest increase over August’s numbers since NICS began.

Guns have taken a backseat to other issues in the presidential election, but gun sales have continued to break records. A recent Pew survey on gun ownership reflected the growth in gun ownership in America. Nearly 110 million Americans report having a gun in their home, according to the survey.

nope, I didnt buy a gun in September. I had to think about it, but nope I didnt.

Might have been Asian-Americans. I was at local gun store today and the place was crowded, like panic buying crowded.
When I finished making payment, I asked sales guy what happened? Why the crowd?
His reply was, Asian Americans buying guns for protection because of thratening rap video against Asians!
As in how to rob them.
I was surprised in peoples reaction to rap video, but who knows, might be better to be safe.

So according to that Pew survey, 1 out of 3 American homes have a gun? That's 33% according to my maths.... A LOT more than 3%..... Maybe the other survey put a decimal point in the wrong spot?
