    East Bay Shooting Ranges?

Sorry if this is already stickied somewhere, but couldn't find anything recent.

Could anybody please recommend some good ranges in the East Bay (Concord/Pittsburg area preferably)?

Saw that Chabot closed down, GFOS has mixed reviews, and all the other ones have weird hours.

    Thanks much.

Haven't been there, but a bit south of you is the Livermore/Pleasanton Rod and Gun Club. Several friends use it and like it.

I am a member at LPRGC. Overall I think its a good range. If you are shooting trap / 5 stand on the weekend, its worth it check the schedule as they sometimes have large events due to the number of shooters they are able to accommodate there. This results in them having between 0 and 2 stations available for public use during those times.

I haven't shot rifle/pistol there in a while, but when I did It got crowded right when they opened and all the lanes could fill up. This might be less of a problem now that they added an additional shooting area on the rifle / pistol range.

Hi Earl, fancy meeting you here lol

I go to San Leandro a couple times a week when I am in town, and I may start driving over to Livermore once a week.
