    how the heck to i install these?

    im trying to put these aimpoint flip-up caps on my Comp C3. they just dont want to go on. anyone do this before who can give me some input?

      im pretty sure. mine is a ACET model. this is the only size they make. they make a different one for the 2x model which i dont have. here is the item description

        found this on a some random site. gonna try

        Install them by pushing straight onto the sight. Do not twist. Once installed, they stay where you put them and you'll never lose them or have to fiddle around to get them on or off.

          Get a pan that will hold your caps and cover them with water. Remove the caps. Bring water to a boil. Take it off heat and drop the caps in. Wait about two minutes. Fish them out carefully, shake off excess water and slip them on the sight. The plastic softens and makes it easier to do. They will tighten down a bit when cool.

              that was pretty darn hard to do, but worked like a charm with the hot water.
