    Would you rather have...

Would you rather have 5 naked rifles, or 2 blinged out rifles with all the works?
I hit my budget so I'm trying to see whats the best way to go...

2 well set up rifles if time is a factor.
Otherwise, 5 naked waiting for clothing.

As I've said many times before,
A tool should do 1 job and do it very well
Get 1 and set it up very well

5 is always worth more than 1 blinged out.

Quantity has a quality all it's own.
It doesn't matter how scary, ugly, uncomfortable, or inconvenient self defense can be. Like it or not, you will never, ever be relieved of your duty and responsibility to defend your life, your family, your country and your freedom.

How much ammo do I need? Enough to last me the rest of my life, and then lot more for later.

According to my fingers, 5 is still more than 2... So 5 it is.

Go for the 5 as long as you don't have to compromise the quality of the base rifles to get that number. As others have replied, accessories can be added later as budget allows.

Most stuff isn't really necessary I'd rather have note rifles. Especially now when I can get accessories any time but may have a short time to get more rifles.

One mans "blinged out" is usually my definition of garbage, bolt-on dead weight.

I think it also has a lot to do with personal circumstances at the moment. yet most times in my life I would say give me the five naked rifles.
right now though, I think I would take the two maxed out ones.

if you are going to register, then 5, since you can turn a few featureless and skip the registration, and have 1-2 registered and be able to use all the features and a regular mag release that some here are hoping for.

and also are all 5 going to be AR's? or will they all be different makes?
