Ronning Arms Modesto

Does anyone know whats going on with Ronning Arms in Modesto? I have not be in the shop or range for awhile. I was shocked when I went in today. It looks like they are close to shutting the doors. The place looked trashed. And no stock. Are they ok?

Not aware of them shutting down, they have a range, they'll prob always be in business. The shelves have been really bare the past few times I've been in there. But that's becoming a regular site as dealers are having a hard time keeping thing in stock.

That store always looks kind of trashed, that's the norm.

It would be nice if they invested money into that range. Ronning Arms has looked bare before the panic buying started.

Every time I'm in there (Barnwood) it seems like something else isn't working or is broken I haven't been in there in a couple months though, but I was going fairly regularly.

Ronning Arms is the outfit that charged me $20 for hitting the target frame a couple of days after I purchased a $900 gun from them. If they treat all their customers accordingly that would explain the state of their store.

Ronning Arms problem is really easy: South Modesto Location.

I just bought a year membership at Barnwood. When I was there last, one lane was closed and their exhaust fan was broken. It was busy that day and thus smokey, so I emptied one box and called it a day. Nice People @ Barnwood and the mexican spot across the street has EXCELLENT salsa!

That Mexican Restaurant is gone! Turned into over price Italian, and now it's something else... can't remember what. It might be back to Mexican food.

There's a new place called Ripon Roadhouse to the right. The mexican place is a Las Casuelas (some relation to the La Morinitas restraunts, but I don't know exact details) (it was there a month ago) +1 for the chicken milenasa!

That Mexican restaurant is there. I was there last week. Its called La Casuellas or something like that. The food there is awsome.

I know if Ron R. keeps having customers and range members that have been around long before it was Ronning Arms treated like crap by his employes bussiness is going to fail.
I stopped using Ronning Arms the day a fat commando employee walked up on me in the range while unsnapping his holster demanding I dump my brass I had just picked up of the floor. My Brass!!! Only one in the range. No left brass sign.
Not to mention I had been picking up my brass at that range for ten to twelve years.
He then proceeded to walk me out of the range with hand on his pistol.
I paid for my targets, left my membership card and never went back.
Barnwood Arm on the other hand in Ripon has allways been great!

Ronning Arms is terrible. The staff is terrible. I will never darken their door again.
