Do those of you who wear glasses wear shooting glasses over them. Or just go with your regular eyeglasses. My distance vision is going bad on me. How do people do with this issue?

Glasses and shooting glasses

I currently use Allen Company Over-Prescription Shooting Glasses over my prescription glasses/sunglassess.
Works great, no complaints.
Was using (back in the 1990s to early-2000s) Gargoyles Classic with Rx inserts, but cost too much to keep changing prescription every 2-3 years.sigpic

My prescription glasses are hardened safety glass. I wear them and a hat. Hat gives protection from casing falling into glasses. I'm not overly concerned with side protection but they sell side protection wingsOnly slaves don't need guns

I just wear my regular glasses. I have some shooting glasses that fit over them, but I don't like them much.Originally posted by KestryllI want to be Princess Anastasia today because I feel prettyOriginally posted by QuarterBoreGunnerKes is really just an errand boyOriginally posted by KestryllI am NOT...anything other than a schmuck...Comment

I use Oakley's for my everyday glasses with impact rated RX lens. I have matching frames (Carbon Blade) and have sunglass lens in one and clear in the other frame for bother day/night, indoor/outdoor use.
Been doing that for years now.
The down side to having to have glasses is if you hunt with them in the cold, they fog up.
There is anti fog spray that you can get at motorcycle shops, etc., that works ok, but not perfect.

Right or wrong, I use my regular glasses alone for most shooting (lenses are pretty darn thick). I add to those some safety goggles when I first shoot a new rifle (usually C&R) or a new load, projectile, etc. for the first time (I reload).
Aperture sights help with distance vision.
I really only use one of my eyes (other one points off in another direction and does its own thing). I have a monocle but that probably isn't suitable for the range.

I bought specific rx glasses for shooting.
