    Gunbroker Problem

I recently tried to make an account on gunbroker, I entered all of my correct information and before I could finish registering, I got an error message that said my account was flagged and said I must email a picture of my photo ID and Utility bill.
I haven't even bought anything yet, just tried to make an account.

    Has anyone had this problem?

I did not have a problem, but I joined years ago.
If there is a number, and or e-mail contact check with gun broker.
Maybe your info is similar to a banned account so they need to confirm?

My understanding is that if your e-mail addy is not from an ISP (Verizon, Comcast, ATT, ect.) they want proof that you're a real person.

With all the identity theft happening. Maybe someone tried to register your email already . I would call them. I registered a few years ago . don't remember the procedure. You also want to make sure your not on a fake website.
Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.

This weekend I bought a pistol on Gunbroker. The email system was once again being flaky. I have noticed this in the past especially when I am asking the seller questions about the description.

The auction ended at 8:55 PM Saturday.
I bid at 8:30 PM on Saturday.
I got an email confirmation that had I bid on Sunday morning at 6:38 AM
This morning at 8:41 AM I got a confirmation that I had won the auction.

I wonder sometimes what is going on over there. I have talked to them about these issues and several others and they did not seem too concerned about it.
                  And so it goes...
