San Jose Gun Exchange: Buying a gun they have to order

Just wanted to give an update on the situation.

The shotgun finally arrived and my brother's 10 day wait started. He picked it up last week and everything turned out ok.

The wait was longer then we expected, and while we were left wondering why for a little bit there, everything turned out ok!

One recent customer ordered a Cimmaron Evil Roy revolver in 4 3/4" about three months ago. About three weeks ago Cimmaron sent us 3 in 5.5"... but we ordered 3 in 4 3/4" and they said the 4 3/4 would be in any day. They still haven't received them. They'll be in "any day now".

My apologies to your brother for his wait. Many times I can only go by what my distributor tells me. Not to say that we haven't made an absolute mistake on occassion, but it's most often something out of our control. Anyways, I'm glad he's happy and I hope he enjoys it for years to come.

Somethings are hard to get and it'll cost to much to try and get that one special gun that everyone wants.....

We crazy dealers head out to the SHOT Show sign up and buy things that take 6-12 mos to show up. Guys like Tanner sell thier guns for 699 while we paid 849 for the same thing.....go figure.

Manufactures are mostly to blame.....I am always asked if I have RRA LAR-10 in stock.....well they had them at the shot show for all to see but they might come out a year later....and they do have them on their website.
