I recently got a couple of Chip McCormick magazines for a 1911 -
1 10-round magazine, and 1 8-round magazine. I had serious feed problems with both when they were topped off. When I filled them half-way, I had no issues.
It looked like the round was being pushed too hard, and the bullet was actually protruding up through the ejection port of the slide on each failure.
When I used the factory mags (Kimber) I had no issues. The 1911 is a Kimber Custom TLE II.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
