How long do you think a Glock lasts in salt water? I'm thinking not too long. Like maybe one trip and it's done? Or they must throw it directly into some type of desalinization solution as soon as they come up.

A good sold rinse with fresh water and Dawn after a detail strip, followed by a good cleaning and lubrication and it'll last just fine.

The most delicate parts are the small springs, which will corrode quickly, but we're still talking months with the above treatment.

You can destroy scuba or fishing gear in one trip.. or it can last a lifetime.
