    Hypothetical question regarding firearm sales

At what point do most feel you would show up on DOJ and ATF's radar with regards to firearm PPT transfers in what duration of time?

One could theoretically purchase a handgun/rifle/lower and turn it around for a profit in this political environment quite easily with the right connections.

Whats to keep a person with a entrepreneurial flair from doing the same?

DOJ and ATF should not exist; there should be no 'radar' for free citizens to worry about.
People don't like to be meddled with. We tell them what to do, what to think, don't run, don't walk. We're in their homes and in their heads and we haven't the right. We're meddlesome.

It would take a lot... there are no real restrictions for rifles.

If you did more than 10 at a time it would blip on the radar.

As long as it's not frequent, you'll be alright. [pc 12070(b)(4)]

Keep in mind, CA law limits you to less than 6 handgun transactions within a calendar year. [pc 12070(c)(1)(A)]

Also, when ever you purchase/transfer into your possession two or more handguns from the same FFL dealer within five consecutive business days, the FFL dealer reports you to the BATFE in order to comply with Federal law. [18 U.S.C. 923(g)(3), 27 CFR 478.126a]
