Place to store

I am shifting to a new place owing to some personal issues for the time being. The house I am moving to temporarily doesn't have much space and I am not sure how long will it take to find a good place to stay. So till then I need to safely store my airsoft gun and bullets. A few friends suggested keeping it in a storage unit. I have few other things also that has to be stored so I think that may be a good option. But is there any restriction about storing guns in storage unit? Should I show them my license or something?

An air soft gun is NOT legally defined as a firearm and so you can store it however you want, gun laws are for real guns.

Airsoft is fair game, do whatcha want with it, they have no legal requirements regarding storage
