adding family member to a registered gun

i have searched around the net and this forum and can not seem to find the info regarding adding my spouse or my daughter to any of my guns as an additional registered owner. im sure it is out there just maybe im using the wrong wording. i had not heard of such a thing until a CCW class last week that had the discussion of husband and wifes who may share a weapon on a permit. or even having your child as another registered owner of a rifle so if they are out using it there would be no problem.

I think it is up to issuing agency of CCW to allow husband/wife to list same CCW weapon on each other's permit. As far as daughter and wife plus yourself maybe a firearm trust?

Not possible under either CA or Federal law.

An issuing agency may allow a husband/wife to cross-list guns on their CCW, but that is not 'ownership'.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

I think you'd need to set up a 'Firearms Trust' and for that you'd need an attorney that knows his way around setting up firearms trusts.
