I know SG AMMO... What I'm asking about is certain brands people like and average cost for it. I know I can get some nice stuff for $1 a pop but I'm not looking to go that route. Also, no steel case. I hate that stuff.

Youre saying you dont like steel case but dont want to pay around a buck per...hmm
For a specialized round like a soft point it's kinda like saying you want to have your cake and eat it too.

Re-think steel case I recently purchased a case of the 154 SP tula 762x39 from SG.
I dont think it compares to anything else out there for the price its truly a great round.

Not that I know of. Soft points are fairly pricey, and there isn't much demand for them in bulk as they are generally specialty purpose rounds for hunting medium game.

Why do you want so many soft points?

$10 for 20 rds comes out to .50 a rd... I've seen this in PMC, FED and PPU. Question is, are they any good? I know they probably won't compare to the nicer stuff but what about each other? Only looking for 100 rds for ****s and giggles.

                      100 rounds isn't bulk. SP aren't for ****s & giggles. That said....

I've had good experiences with Fiocci as well.

I've never shot their soft points, but I have shot quite a bit of their v-max loaded stuff and it really is good stuff for the price.

I'd say Fiocci is a good match of price and performance if their varminter rounds were any indication.
