I'm a life member of the CRPA and one of the things I look forward to is the magazine Firing Line and especially the regular feature Reading With Redcorn. The latest article brings up a worthy caution---what happens when the mandated steel shot ricochets off rocks in dry grass?
Steel clad ammo like 7.5 Swiss GP-11 is banned from ranges around here (Fresno) because of the fire hazard presented (and steel projectile ricochets have indeed cause fires at foothill ranges where grass isn't exactly abundant!)
How many times will Cal-fire need to be called out before Upland Hunting becomes History in CA?
