I don't see how that can be silenced. There is not enough room for the expanding gas to cool off. I'd love to see that gun in person and see just how it works.

Like The "Whisper" .44 ...

Looking at the design of the weapon and reading the blurb about "special, integrally silenced ammunition" I have to believe this has several features in common with the "Whisper" .44 developed for the tunnel rats in Nam. The Whisper, like this system, was basically a launch tube attached to a cylinder pre-loaded with rounds which contained a fairly elaborate piston system to eject the projectile. The firearm used was a heavily modified S&W. *EVERY SINGLE ROUND* of the Whisper ammo is considered an *INDIVIDUAL* Class III item under ATF regs. There are few, if any, of these in private hands. Partly because of the ATF ruling and partly because the government had them under very tight controls in the field.

The only way any American is going to touch one of these will be as a technician in some spook operation.

This would work with any revolver- If you didnt care about fast reloads, you could fabricate two side shields for the cylinder which fully encase it. As a bonus, if you made it DAO, there would be no moving parts outside the gun to snag on anything at all. No casings left, no noise, can be fired from within a pocket-- a perfect CIA weapon.
