DROS question stripped lower and AR pistol

I tried searching but could not find any info on my question. I have a stripped lower I bought online being sent to a FFL. I'm also buying a PPT AR pistol registered as a handgun. Can I do both at the same time on the same DROS?

Great question. I do t think so because PPT is different from a purchase. Just my 2 cents.

That's what I think too, I was hoping to save on a DROS fee lol.

Nevermind, found my answer in a older post

Timing is everything since the dealer must leave the DROS open for you to combine them (I've been told there is a max time window they can keep it open). I've done combined DROS's 4 times this year at 2 different shops. The easiest way I've found this is to:
      - Get there early for your PPT
      - Fill out your purchase 4473 form. Do not have them submit the purchase DROS.
      - When PPT starts, fill out your PPT 4473, and then remind them to keep your DROS open and then submit your purchase DROS right after.

Short answer is no. One is a handgun and the other is a long gun. Seperate DROS and fees!

Wrong, since both guns require registration, they can be on the same DROs.

I've dros 2 different handguns from 2 different PPT and it was on the same 4473 form.

Went through this scenario last month. PPT on two stripped lowers. One pistol, one rifle, two separate sets of DROS paperwork and fee's. Good luck and enjoy the pistol, its a lot of fun!

Your FFL is doing it wrong then.
