If he called you before you started your drive just forget about it and move on. Not worth the stress.

Ive had a seller call me to back out of a deal because he said his cousin wanted to buy the item, it happens....

Besides, no sale is final until its inspected and paid for which is why a seller wont want to drive too far

My instinct was to move on and moving on is what I've done. Appreciate all of your feedback. It's always good to take a step back and put it into perspective. looking at it now...not a big deal....It was then though lol
        Thanks

That's not negative, that's a positive. Not that you should now leave positive feedback. It's not completed deal, therefore it's a wash.

But, my point is ... he called you before you wasted your time and travel money. I've seen deals go wayyyyy worse than this. I hope you thanked him for the call.

Get over it and move on.
Hmm... now I know what is considered acceptable when dealing with people on Calguns.

Good thing is he called before you drove, sucks he backed out but at least you didn't waste the drive. Now if you had driven and he didn't show up, that would have warranted a negative.

I've been lucky, sold two firearms this week and both people were very cool, will probably end up going shooting with them.

Kind of a whiny girl. He called and said no before you drove. Yes younset aside time to do that. I would nto be driving 90 minutes for a few hundred. It would need ro eb in the thousands to do that kind of drive.

Reminds me of a guy here who got his panties tied up. I called him to cancel out meeting to buy ammo. I had a work issue come up fot an employee no show.. He got all bent out of shape sending me pms crying about how he had already walked all the way to his car to put two ammon cans on.

Crying girls must be very disappointed in life when someone gives them a courtesy of actually calling to cancel instead of just a no show.

                  Negative rating?? Lolol

I generally wont sell anything unless i talk to the person on the phone. You can gain a lot of information from Simple conversation. Text message is pretty much garbage.

It happens. Nothing to get worked up over. Like others said at least you didnt make the drive yet. Spend more time selling and buying here and you will encounter ridiculous chit. Like people acting like a fantasty come true purchasing a nothing special gun, someone selling you a broken gun then start a thread saying you broke it when you looked at it, sellers asking you sell them their gun back to them 6 months after they sold it, buyers telling you what conidition the gun your selling is in without looking at it and sending insulting offers, sellers wont sell to you because of the way you look.

Good advise. Live and learn. Wasn't really worked up as much as was curious about how the Calguns iTrader was used as I've never seen a "negative" or even a "neutral" rating. Move'd on

                            17) iTrader ratings.

Negative feedback should be reserved for transactions where one party has lost either money or goods, or the delivered product is substantially different than advertised. Positive feedback is appropriate for a transaction with good communications between they parties involved and that completes in a timely manner. Neutral feedback is for everything else, including transactions which are not completed. Use the comment section to describe why you gave the rating you did. Retaliatory feedback is not tolerated and should be reported to a moderator. See Rule #16 regarding Marketplace Disputes.
