    "Odd conversation" thread got me thinking

    What if the situation were in reverse...As a buyer, said gun comes back as ineligible to be sold to you for some problem on the sellers end...Seller has your money & you have no gun

    Anyone ever hear of such a situation?

    The only problem I could see is the firearm comes back stolen, at which the seller would have given his California DL information to the FFL to process the transaction, and would probably have a discussion with Police.

    If the firearm has an issue, it is not to the advantage of the seller to process a sale through an upstanding FFL.
