    Good Price? Ruger 10/22

I want to buy a Ruger 10/22, I see that Big 5 is selling them for $274.99, is that a good price for one or what prices have you seen them being sold at?

    Model #: 1256

Not a very good price unless it's the breakdown model. If you're in San Diego, I know a local gun shop selling a 10/22 for $200. Pm me for more info

That's about average. MSRP is around $300, I've seen the standard wood and blue steel around $250 or less.

In my area (El Dorado County), $250-300 seems to be the average msrp. Keep in mind tax and DROS will add $40-50.

Big 5 has them on sale occasionally for $249. I would wait unless you can't wait.

I'd wait it is a common black Friday sale gun and November is just around the corner.

I use Gun Genie a lot to check prices.
Put "1256" in the GOG part number, enter your zip and click search.
You want to compare the Total price which includes fees, in my area it looks like the lowest is $310 OTD.

I bought that same model used , like new hardly fired for $180 + the dros & tax . OK I thought it was like new . It looked great but when I took it shooting I had major feed jam issues .

Checked the extractor . The one on the right was in the gun the one on the left is the replacement . That 10/22 had to have fired thousands of rounds to round that extractor like that . I guess it wasn't so hardly fired after all . Shoots and cycles great now though .

Anyways I think That's the going price for the SS model

Turners has a pink stocked one for $189. Good price if you are replacing the stock anyway. Otherwise they have standard models for $239.

What price do they usually go for around Black Friday?

Turners sales price is normally $219 for the basic. Like some one else said, get the pink one is switching out the stock.
