    Note to self... Dessicant

    Awhile back a buddy gave me one of those dollar store dessicant buckets to try out. Sure, why not?

    Couple days ago I noticed that there was no moisture accumulated. That's strange. Must not work very well.

    Ummm.... it would probably work better if you take it out of the packaging & remove the seal first...

      It will last longer the way you did it!

      I suggest you put the dessicant container in a sturdier container in case the plastic bucket cracks.

          i need to recharge mine.... been trying to be cheap and use the sun during the last few days but i think the temps aren't getting high enough to evap the moisture... guess i gotta fire up the oven this weekend and just dry them out.

              I swear by these. Amazing how much water I soaked up in 6 months. And people say the Valley is a dry dessert. lol
