Need some help with Muzzle brake!

Hello! Just bought a Sig MCX and loving it so far. Only problem is that I hate the 3 prong flash hides and want to install a brake on it. I had an old VDI muzzle brake lying around. It fits snug and tight with the crush washer but I have a good amount of thread left once i look down the muzzle brake. Is this gonna cause me any problems? Sorry pic is best i could take.

No problem. Shoot it like that. Most brakes you just can't see that.

Focus would help.

You could add a narrow taper nut if that would make you feel better.

Due to the design of the MCX and MPX barrels, there is no shoulder for a timed muzzle device. Contact Sig and order their "TAPER CAP ADAPTOR"
It's an adaptor that has the same internal taper that locks up to the barrel on the taper just behind the threads. Has a front shoulder for timed muzzle devices. THen you can install a brake via crush washer or shims. They are under $10

Thanks for the reply . I heard back from sit. The cap adapter is already installed and they said the brake will not thread on fully but as long as it is on tight and timed correctly, I will be fine!
