    Hk usc carbine

So I finally got around to cleaning out one of the safes and apparently during the breakup a few years ago realized I had purchased a 2nd usc for my ex to use when we went to the range. She only took it out twice before ultimately deciding she didn't care for it, go figure. With all the pending legislation is the extra something I should keep around? I'm assuming that since it is still a center fire pistol caliber rifle it will face the same registration as our AR's? What would you do if you were in my situation? I'm admittedly on a heavy case of cold medicine, battling this nasty flu. I figured ide get some other calgunners input. Thanks in advance.

It will be subject to the new laws same as all other centerfire semi auto rifles.

Are these really out of production? Over the years I remember hearing multiple times that they stopped making them, then they would all of a sudden pop up again. Anybody know? It's probably the easiest platform to make featureless out of all of my tools; which is the reason I'm really torn.

Yes, they're really out of production.

Another cool option is to do a USC to UMP conversion. And then register it.

I'm not sure which of the guys doing this are both recommended and California friendly. If I remember correctly, Homeland Defense and Police Supply Corp. had been recommended by a few people on the board.

Whether he's bullet button and California friendly, I don't know.

It's one of my favorites to be honest, the fact that it slipped my mind that I had this second one just sitting there is what makes me wonder what I should do. Now that I know it's out of production maybe I should just keep it for parts? Ayyye idk

The icing on the cake is I got to hand pick the serial # and it's numerically her bday, probably the only reason I'm leaning towards passing it on

Damn. Only thing my ex ever got me was an STD.

OP the 'ex is history, the gun is here in the present. Keep the gun; you probably won't see its likeness again...

add a grip wrap and go featureless instead of registering in 2017

they are probably work a little north of 2k in today's market
