Gun Aesthetics, "Pretty" Guns

Okay, I will admit it. I AM SHALLOW. I like pretty guns like I like pretty women.

How important is it to me? VERY. I literally will not own a gun that I do not find aesthetically pleasing. Beauty literally almost trumps function for me.
Sure, my outlook may be different if I was using them daily for work or something, but I don't, so it's not.

My favorites:
1911's (true beauty)
CZ's (some find them ugly)
S&W Revolvers (Classic beauty)
High Grade Wood stocks on Shotguns and Rifles (So Pretty!!)
Scar 17 FDE (I want so bad I could poop myself)

I shoot all of my guns, I'm not afraid to get them dirty, thats what they're for. Some that I think look good some I own some are on my wish list

I have several hammers in my toolbox & on my workbench - each with a different purpose. Some are in better shape than others, but I make sure they all can do the job.

That said, I do own two BBQ guns I like to wear for "dress up".

Sorry OP, no safe queens in my collection. I think the only time I would actually prefer a gun with nice aesthetics would be if it were some kind of collectors piece, in which case it would be in a case of it's own inside my safe.

My guns are all shooters. The pistols get holster wear, the rifles get nicks and scratches on them from being used. Some get used harder than others, but I can't think of a single gun I own that I would be upset over if the finish wore off or if I scratched it while using it.

I think Beretta makes the "prettiest" guns.

I do like the aesthetics of guns like Webley revolvers and chiappa rhinos...you would never use pretty to describe them.

very important. There are only 5 moving parts. No excuse not to be a fine piece of machinery.

You can still have a $100 H&R pardner shotgun made from cast iron with a birch palletwood stock that is very aesthetically pleasing.

you could also have a $2000 H&R pardner with an AAA walnut stock and high polish blue that is NOT aesthetically pleasing. It's all in the package deal.
