Most Space Efficient Way to Store Ammo?

I will be doing more reloading, and am wondering what have you found is the most space efficient way to store ammo. Seems like loose in an ammo can may hold the most for ordinary ammo (i.e., 9mm). I would have to store in a less efficient way for precision reloaded ammo (6mmBR, 6.5x47), and maybe an ammo box with dedicated holes is the best way.

I vacuum seal all my ammo, usually 150 rnds per back. You would be amazed by how much more ammo you could get into a standard 50 cal box.

Standard set loads I put into an ammo can. Any of my loads I +/- the load or hollow points, I place in the 100rd plastic containers. Mark everything.

Loose rounds in 50 cal ammo boxes and put it on a vibrating table to settle the cartridges as tight as possible?

Never tried it but it should work.

All jokes aside, if I have extra clear boxes (50s/100s) I line them up and store them in those, then put those in ammo cans. Everything else goes in a ziplock, and then into an ammo can.

I store all my ammo in military ammo cans. I have a separate 40 mm ammo can for each caliber. To take ammo to the range, I use a Dillon Border shift bag, which stores easily in the 40mm can https://www.dillonprecision.com/dill..._26_23843.html . The 6mmbr round is both a precision and unique in size, and I and many of those on 6mmbr.com recommend this cartridge case http://jandjproducts.com/proddetail.php?prod=BR-100

I don't have ammo to store. I only buy what I need at range and shoot it all up.

                            Yup. That's what I'm sayin'...
