**Update at post 28**
No. Not at Church.
I rehabbed my safe. It was missing half its carpet. A shelf I added was just plain wood. Its been buggin me for a long time but I never had the time to really fix it. Well I did this weekend. I went to Homedepot last night and picked up some carpet. It was maked like .30 sqft sold 12ft wide. So I spent like 20 some bucks on the carpet and Loctite spray adhesive. (By the way... stupid cali.. you also get hit with some environmental fee when buying carpet...) Tossed the carpet in the back of the Jeep and took it home.
Got it home and flopped the carpet on the floor with the girlfriend just giving me that 'look' of "DAFAQ you getting into now?"

My safe was missing half its carpet... and the shelf i added with no carpet..

So I ripped everything out.

Cut all new pieces, sides, back top bottom. Glued them in. Reinstalled everything. I know the bottom shelf looks like its saggin... (i said the same thing) but i took a level to it and it sits flat on both sides...

Filled her back up

ALSO ordered some lights
My safe now has the New Carpet Smell!
Im MUCH happier now that I got around to doing this.
I have run into a problem tho... First: I got to much carpet for this project.. Second; With an AR10 build and two more AR15 builds going... I am outgrowning my safe.
Guess its kinda of a good problem to have. Once i complete a move out of state later this year, i will buy a bigger one there and use this as my ammo/document safe.
I would recommend to anyone doing their safe, use the loctite spray adhesive. It worked REALLY well and fast fist contact hold, but still lose enough to easily pull off when you needed to readjust it.
**Edit** Here is the carpet i used.
