Just looked at the Roster and I see 2 models of the P238 and a few P226 in 9 mm that are available till 1/1/17. Is there a way to know if they will renew or are they done after this date for good?

And if they renew it will only be the current models listed or will they add more?Comment

They cannot add more due to "microstamping" requirement. Nobody can.
What you see from time to time as "new models" is either a current model that is being cosmetically modified (Colt does this a lot with some of their "commemorative edition" 1911s,) or a model that has been approved in the past and is being reintroduced (must be exactly the same as the old model.)sigpicNRA Benefactor MemberComment

A solid bet is that any gun already on the roster and in current production will be renewed unless CA DOJ declines due to change in the manufacturing process.
You can also e-mail the manufacturer and ask. I did it for NAA mini revolver years ago and they told me they would renew, so I could get my SSE-s in first.sigpicNRA Benefactor MemberComment
