What to do when getting bad ammo?

So I ordered the following ammo from these vendors:

Freedom Ammunition - Freedom Match 308 Winchester AMAX 168gr
Federal Armament - 9mm 115gr TMJ Lead Core RN

I usually just buy factory ammo but since i'm starting to shoot a lot more and don't have the time or space to reload right now, I ordered bulk ammo from those two suppliers. Same crap, different calibers. Fail to feed, stuck in barrel from case bulge, and fail to fire. The 308 went into a Rem 700 and the 9mm went into a Glock 34 and CZ75 SP01. All of the guns are new except for the CZ75. It's ridiculous. Freedom Ammo will be sending a new batch out but will not refund and Federal Armament is completely ignoring my emails and giving me the run around on calls.

Any suggestions on what course of action to take with both vendors? I read good reviews about both before purchasing but his is just ridiculous and has ruined two different range trips, one outdoor with the rem 700 308 and one indoor with the Glock and CZ. At this point I really just want a refund and spend that money on better quality ammo. Anybody else dealt with this? I feel utterly stupid right now having to tried to have save a few dollars. This has turned into a whole new headache.

shop for online deals for factory ammo, dont buy any more reloads.

How much do you need a refund for? maybe just cut your losses and walk away?

Cheap ammo is cheap for a reason. Seriously, top ammo is sought after and sells for a premium.

Consider it a lesson learned and move on. In 100 years it will not matter to you.

You haven't heard that freedom AMMUNITION is garbage? First mention I've seen of federal armament (will keep in mind they are junk too).

I've been quite pleased with the ammo I got from freedom MUNITIONS.

It's about $300 total. I was buying bulk in hopes of practicing for USPSA and 3 gun. Guess it's just a very hard lesson learned.

I think I might have gotten to two mixed up. At this point my DD M4V11 and Rem700 are too valuable to have this kind of thing happen again so until I start learning to reload, factory ammo it is.

It may not be the ammo...Have you used factory ammo in the new guns before?

...nothing to add about the direct topic, but you may want to reconsider reloading, at least acquiring components while they're still cheap and available. Full-scale CA panic hasn't set in yet, but it will torwards the end of the year, but the supply/demand cataclysm will be cubed, because this is an election year... with one of the worst politicians in US history likely to become President (and really no need to remind, rabidly anti).
In a few short months there wont be any ammunition to buy... anywhere, unless of youre willing to pay 200-300% markup.

By the time availability starts to normalize, 2018 will be right around the corner... too late for us.
Reloading components are the best bet for stockpile; bullets, brass, powder, primers. Your money will go further.
You may not have the time and motivation now. But you may come 2018... with whatever insane permanent price hikes we'll be seeing.

The one time I got two bad rounds out of a bag of surefire ammo I just shot the rest of the bag with no issues. I've beenever using their ammo for years and it was just a couple round that slipped through. It happens.

Now if I got a whole bag that was garbage then I'd consider something.
