    Black powder, no dros?

    Hey guys
Unsure of what I heard so thought I would ask.
Is it true I can buy black powder revolvers out of state from ffl and have shipped to my door? Thanks

Yes. Muzzleloading firearms are exempt from dros, 4473, background checks and registration. They can be shipped directly to your door.

Cabela's, Gander Mountain, Bass Pro and thers are more than happy to ship a black powder revolver or rifle to your front door. All perfectly legal.

Can buy them online just as easy and unrestricted as pretty much anything. If criminals start using civil war replicas then expect it to change, but otherwise they are probably sticking around.

Nope, no specific black powder section. Black powder is mixed in with Nagants, Garands and every other Curio and Relic.

Normally for modern BP revolvers it is not the barrel that needs changing. It is the cylinder. A quick google search and you will find which BP guns they make the conversion cylinder for. Do that search first so you know what BP gun to buy.

Does the online/out of state ammo purchase restriction taking effect soon also impact black powder sales?

Here's a real humdinger of a idea, why not buy the T/C 50 cal mag. BP rifle, it's a break action. Can you see where this could go.
