Do you need a CCW to carry a weapon in a car? its not on your person, and its self defense. couldn't he just whip out any gun he wanted and shoot the mofo even without a CCW?

interesting story. reminds me of a FRIEND who got cut off bad on the 5 and so happened to have an AT-4 tube in the back seat. Needless to say the passenger stood up out of the sun roof and pointed it at the reckless driver resulting in a similar reaction.

When I was 18yrs old, I went with my GF, To the local School to have her say goodbye to her friends, I waited in my car, With a friend parked on a side street.

When she was coming back to the car, I said something to my Friend that she was coming back.

That's when some idiot from a local gang looked into my ride, and said, 'Who said F my Hood ' .

I told him to get away from the ride, and that's when he called over his 'homies'.

I turned to my GF, and told her to hurry up and get in, She got in and then all these gangsters started to surround the car, and then a White Camero, Parked in front of my ride.

I sayed, F This, and got out (I later thought about it, and said if thier gonna mess up something I DONT want it to be MY CAR)

So I went up to the 'leader' and Socked him in the Mouth;

He went Down, and I was going after someone else, When one of those little punks put a Revolver to the back of my Head.

I stopped, turned around and saw that it was a 'real gun',

Then I heard the sound of a Rifle from my other side, I turned to my left, and they took out an AR-15, And pointed it at me.

So they started to talk all kinds of stuff, telling my how they where gonna kill me, etc.

I looked back at the punk that had the revolver to my head, and thought F*ck these guys, I'M Gonna get out of here. So I looked at the punk, and turned and walked back to my car, Without getting shot, And left.

It wasn't 4 months later that I saw this guy alone, (I was in my car heading to a friends house).

When I slammed the car to a halt, and gave him a good old time street beating. That later turned into them coming after me with Swords, And me having to do some fancy footwork.

Who would have known cholo's carried Swords. OH WELL.

I also had my side view mirror shot by Gangbangers when I went into the projects for a late night b call.

I never had a problem fighting to defend myself, But there are way too many punks that don't like to get hit, and have to pull a Weapon.

Anyways, I never was a gangbanger, And was only out to meet up with the womenz.

Scary moment. Glad to hear you (or any other innicents) didn't get hurt. It would have made a happier endng if the suspect vehicle was involved in a single vehicle accident.

Well this happened probably about a year or two ago but i never really felt like posting it, but i guess i'll throw it up here now and maybe get some interesting conversation going.

It all sarted on a normal friday or saturday night, I was hanging out with my friends in SF (yeah the city that banned guns, wonder why there is an AK out here in criminals hands? ) And i am driving home, I wait at the stoplight with a car next to me, dont bother looking over cuz its late and im just trying to drive home. So the light goes green and i start slowly thinking i'll let this guy pass me, but he drives just as slow. I say screw it and give it a bit of gas to pass him up because the lanes merge. And as im on the freeway his car pulls up along side me and its a black guy hanging out the passenger window with an AK47 with a drum hanging out of it pointing it directly at me and yelling. Hes probably in his mid 20's or so and the gun looks extremely real from what I could see. I hit the breaks and he keeps driving and i see him do the same thing to the next car on the freeway! Keep in mind this is at about 2 or 3 in the morning so its relatively empty on the freeway. And as he's doing this to the other car his driver swerves, drunk maybe? and nearly crashes into the other car. I see the passenger get back in the car and they speed off. Anyone ever seen some crazy sh** or had something like this happen to them?

And you would be wrong. California, indeed, has a right to self defense/castle law. If you are in fear for your life, or the life and safety of another, you have full legal right to use any force necessary to stop the threat.

Should I have crashed my car into his? I know I would have likely injured the guy pointing the gun at me. It's hard to think of what to do when you're caught completely by suprise.
