Thank you Calguns

I came from a no gun background and no family or friends owning guns. I bought my first handgun and AR15 just a few months ago, I thought great I got my Glock and a black rifle, I'm a gun nut now..... how wrong I was.

I then found these forums and it's really infused my interest and passion in the hobbby and most importantly opened my eyes to politics.
Seeing the beauties and collections you guys have just drops my jaw. Made me regret not getting in to this hobby 17 years ago when I turned legal age. After being convinced on here to build my own AR, I've built 3 in different calibers since. After being convinced as reliable as the Glock is I need to open my horizons so I drosed a CZ, and I don't even want to look at the prices of 1911s and magnum caliber pistols yet. After people showing off your carbines I bought a Kriss Vector just to learn how gimped it is here in California. Plus all the expensive accessories like scopes and sights and mags and slings and multiple holsters for one gun.

I have a son that's 2 years old, I'm hoping to get him in to this hobby as I wish I had guidance at a younger age. With these ridiculous laws passing where I won't even be able to pass on a AR15 to my son is ridiculous and I wouldn't be surprised if it got more ridiculous where I wouldn't be able to pass a semi-auto handgun to him. I hope it gets better and will help fight for hopefully what is not a lost cause.

Thank you Calguns, I have learned so much more about firearms then I ever thought I would and have much to learn still. These forums are invaluable for our firearm community and for newcomers.

And yes it does suck about not being able to pass them down, and yes it will probably only get worse (especially of if the douchebag gavin gets elected). The only thing that might help us out would be a Trump victory...fingers crossed.

Thanks guys. Also lost in my long post was my point... how crucial Calguns is towards California politics. I sadly and regretfully voted for Obama after being brainwashed by the biased media. In a matter of months after joining Calguns, my eyes have opened, how corrupt and overreaching the government (especially the Democratic party) can be. I come from a completely liberal and anti-gun family and friends, I have since turned some friends on the right track.
My point being there are a ton of people voting for Hillary and supporting anti-gun just because the media is overly biased, and same with how I use to be, there are many brain washed sheep following her and anti-gun that can be educated and have the blindfolds taken off.

We would all be on someone's watch list if we had unlimited funds to pursue this hobby It can be even more fun in other less restrictive states as well.
