Being smart is not "giving up."

    Being stupid is not "courageous."

I've got a healthy arsenal, but have considered selling or trading that which I don't use all too often, and sticking with a bolt gun, a shotgun, and a few handguns.

      Thoughts?
      Brainwashed anti term, right there.

Under the premise of this thread, being "smart" or "stupid" are mere points of view...

Leave the state. Take your tax dollars with you.

I moved to outside of Portland Oregon in June and got my CCW 9 days after applying. When I went to get my finger prints taken the lady helping me apologized for the background check delay of up to two weeks and thanked me for being a law abiding citizen applying for a CCW.

You won't find that kind of service and support anywhere in California.

Another Cal Transplant moving to a "Free" State and bringing his Anti-gunners with him.
Have you seen the news this week in your, "used to be awesome before the CA libtards came in" state?
The Antis that came in with you are going full bore restrictions!
Now go apologize to a native Oregonian for screwing their State.

**** this state and **** these laws.

And even more so **** you if your the type of person who is a quitter.

The reality is although Im getting the hell out of dodge before these rules take effect I refuse to comply to any of it if I linger for a period before I scoot.

They don't have the manpower to enforce it in my area, and I work with local LEO and they openly have told me its a joke.

                          Screw Cali.

OP, it sounds like you already gave up. You're doing exactly what the gun grabbers want, make owning an AR "undesirable ". F that. Wake up, shake off the CA political blues and carry on. Fight the oppression.

Nah, I suppose if there were some guns that I wanted to sell to buy others. Been spending this year. Not a good time to spend right now as panic buying starts to emerge, yet always good to review what you want and gun-broker it from out of state. For bullet button rifles, window is closing. As long as one wants to stay in California, purchasing seems like the only way to get inventory or it won't be available in 2017, and quiet possibly some time after that. Climate looks ugly, and appears to get worse before it gets better.

I would be Long on purchases and ammo. Short on selling.

I suppose the cheapest way is to locate receivers for long guns that need BB, then build later when prices drop for the hardware as they usually do. It is all politics. Anything that can be purchased in 2017 should be deferred.

Ammo is another area that gets a buy recommendation. Lot's of buy recommendations. Short the market if you want out.
