Another Classic is off the streets (not Python, oops)

    Simi Valley Nixle Report
During this operation fifteen locations within the city of Simi Valley were visited. Four individuals were contacted. One of these individuals was found to be in possession of various prohibited items including: (2) handguns, (1) illegal shotgun, (3) assault rifles, (4) other rifles, several high capacity magazines and approximately 1200 rounds of miscellaneous caliber ammunition. These items were confiscated and are now in the custody of the California Department of Justice.

              Nothing.

The person possessing them is a prohibited person, which means they can not legally own or possess any firearms and ammunition.

                The revolver is a S&W.

Cross checking DROS with prohibited persons for confiscation? I wonder how many of the fifteen will actually be prohibited.

Oop's I guess it was only four people and one with some guns for the fifteen places they checked.

Wonder if the two "ar's" are actually M16s? Can't see the extra pin over the selector. I wish I had the 3rd generation S&W also.

I was referring to how they specifically referred to an "illegal shotgun" in their release. But maybe that was arbitrary.

The cross checking prohibited persons database with firearms database, goes something like this...
                        1. Run name of newly prohibited person through AFS to see if they have any firearms registered to them.
                        2. If there are registered firearms, then make visit to prohibited person.
                        3. Since the prohibited person has search condition as part of their probation/parole, can search residence without a warrant or consent.
                        4. If firearms are found, then arrest the prohibited person for being in possession.
                        5. If firearms are not found, then interview the prohibited person and other residents of the residence to determine where they went.
                        6. If illegally transferred, then arrest parties involved.

They went to fifteen locations and all they got was that sniveling few guns. And I bet most of them had no idea they were prohibited.

And the AW were AWs only because they didn't have bullet buttons. What a bunch of BS.
sigpicC'mon man, shouldn't we ban Democracks from Cal-Guns? Or at least send them to re-education camps.
