Miracle gun cleaning product needed

Have a 357 revolver. Like to shoot 38's in it.

Yes, you have guessed it. I need a miracle product to clean that ring that forms in the cylinder at the end of the 38 caseing. When it is there the 357's don't fit in easily.

In fact I do clean by guns but that ring forms dang quick.

So is there something on the market or a secret in getting rid of that ring quickly and easily?

I've been using tornado brushes for years. On shotguns.

Also been just wrapping a standard bronze brush with this stuff. For smaller stuff.

Ol' timey PPC shooters who put an awful lot of .38 lead bullets through their revolvers would chuck up a section of cleaning rod mit brush in an electric drill and rooter the lead out. No miracle lubes/cleaners needed, just #9.

(It really helps if you dismount the cylinder and put it in a padded vice.)

Sulfuric Acid, Det Cord, C4 shaped charge, in that precise order

Lewis lead remover, as above. Otherwise, coat the cylinder in #9 and let soak overnite....or longer, then apply lotsa elbow grease. Drill application above works too, but let that #9 do its thing, and that takes time, on occasion.

The downside to lead bullets is that they leave lead rings in the cylinders. So you end up having to clean the lead out of 5 to 7 cylinders (depending on revolver) each time you go shooting.

This. Works perfectly and it also addresses the forcing cone, which the Tornado brush cannot. A couple of twists in each cylinder, and you're done. Buy a package of spare brass screens while your at it.
