    Whats a Larue lower worth?

Thinking of purchasing a PredatOBR complete and selling the complete lower. I am wondering what is a reasonable amount to expect from it?

I saw a Knights SR30 lower in the marketplace for $800, but I have no idea if someone would actually pay that or not. If they would, then I'd imagine that they'll pay that for a LaRue lower.
As the great warrior poet Ice Cube once said "If the day does not require an AK, it is good."

Id pay $800 for a KAC lower, but wouldnt pay near that for a LaRue lower.

Which is funny cause I think the KAC lowers are crazy overpriced. In addition to that the kac 2 stage trigger really isn't very good. With that said I personally wouldn't pay that price for either lower. That's coming from someone who's grail rifle is a kac.

Haha yeah its alot of money. But at the same time, a complete kac gun would be sweet. I like the ambi design on the lower, and not to mention the knight logo being a nice middle finger to CA lol. Is it worth its price in sheer materials and machining time? Nope. Cool/fun factor? Definitely.

Yeah I hear you on that. I feel the Larue lower is worth more in terms of how its made and parts(better trigger/stock buffer tube etc) the kac lower is more desirable for the reasons you listed.

The larue lower might be worth more (no experience with them), but the typical person that will pay larue money already has a larue complete rifle. They typically want both halves just like KAC guns.
LaRue receiver *should* also be matched for that price. Another reason to keep them together

People on the BuildAR list would be interested in a lower. I have 1 lower on order and I hope they will offer lowers again before the end of the year so I can pick up at least 1 more. I ordered several Stealth 2.0 upper combos and would like to have matching lowers. A complete lower would probably sell for $800 or more.

Are we talking AR15 lowers here for $800????
What is so special about this lower that makes it worth 10 times the price??

The average AR lower sells for between $50 and $100.

It's not worth $800 unless someone is willing to pay it. The last LaRue Stripped lowers that I saw sell went for over $500. Anyone looking to buy one isn't interested in buying a Anderson or Aero lower.

Not a stripped lower, also a billet lower with a $200 trigger, nice buffer setup /stock etc.

And I would be selling the complete lower with the Larue MBT etc. If I can only get $800 for it I think I will just hold on to it though.

Whoever spends that kind of cash for a lower is a total bonehead. Wow.....same guy that buys a expensive car to look cool when a Nissan or a Ford serves the same purpose and has $$$$ left over for ammo.

Not really. Some of us like continuity throughout a rifle.
