Apparently a Turkish-born member of the Hessian parliament, Ismail Tipi, revealed the existence of this cache of weapons. Government cover-up?

My guess is illegal AK's are easier to get because the distance of travel between origin and destination is alot shorter for AK'S

Yes, I was being sarcastic.

Europe is awash in military grade weaponry. Common criminals have been using HEAT rounds to take apart armored trucks hauling Euros. Our gang bangers use Raven pistols and junky shotguns; French and Belgian thugs use AKs on each other.

The UK picks up each year in firearms confiscations what the government estimated was the total illegally held firearms stock in the entire country back when the semi auto and handgun bans were enacted. That means the flow of firearms in never ceased and is probably accelerating.

During the recent Munich shooting some European security types disclosed that there have been raids on Mosques that yielded large weapons and ammunition stashes. The German government has been keeping these discoveries VERY QUIET.
