With all the new regulations regarding firearms. What does that do to the Vector? What has to be done to keep it Ca. compliant? Any insight would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Seeing how there is no maglock designed for it. I'd say your only route is featureless.
Or of course you can register it as an AW.
If you've got the pistol, your only option is to register it as an AW -
The Kriss Vector CRB can be made featureless pretty easily. No flash hider or bayonet lug to remove, no forward vertical pistol grip, no attachment point for a grenade launcher...all you have to do is put a grip wrap on the pistol grip and that's it for the Gen 1 design. If you have a Gen 2 then you'll need to either pin your telescopic stock or replace it with a fixed design.
If you have a Gen 1 model, the bullet button pops off pretty easily as I once discovered at the range...

There is a maglock for it. My friend owns one.
He's going to register it as an AW.Comment

That won't work for the new laws.
New law defines fixed magazine as requiring disassembly of the action to remove the mag.Comment

I owned a couple of these back in the day. I had the civilian versions and it should always be in this form. No ugly gift wraps, no mag locks etc. pure and simple how this gun should be enjoyed. They did have 5.5 inch barrel with the sig brace that looked and felt like this SBR. It was like $1599 and some change. SBR was $1899 and some change. Pretty cheap.
I know most of the state laws since I lived in many states and know California doesn't like this version of the weapon and since I no longer own it I don't give a crap what California thinks.

I picked up a Gen 1 and had no idea that the bullet button was that primitive. Featureless here I come! The Kriss Vector CRB can be made featureless pretty easily. Slightly off topic but does anyone know if Kriss will ship the magazine extensions to CA? Wasn't sure since it really isn't a magazine in itself as I understand it.Link for feedback -
