Wonder if other state gun owners are aware of SB1235

I'm wondering if other gun owners are aware of the potential impact of SB1235 (restricting ammo sales). From now to end of 2017 I bet millions of Cal gun owners are going to stock up on ammo. I bet end of 2017 prices will be sky high and availability severely impacted just like after Sandy Hook. Not sure if I'm reading the tea leaves properly.

      Fixed it for you.

The mass majority of folks in California have no idea what happened.

Thousands might know and of those thousands, maybe only hundreds will actually have the means to stockpile.

the run on ammo will start end of Oct.

as the election draws near, people will start stocking on fear of Hillary's win.

and the frenzy will keep going until Nov 5th, election day. and depending on the outcome Nov 6th will either be a full on rush for ammo, or near instant stop of panic buying depending on who wins.

I think you overestimate California gun buyers. I don't think that law will cause a national run on ammo

                  stocking up on ammo

Something Im thinking about is what if they make new laws restricting the type of ammo that is allowed on public land, what if they ban the sale and possession of all lead ammunition in CA, and your ammo stock pile becomes useless?

if you cant legally use it or store it? you will have a large supply that has become a waste , hazzard to have stored in home by law, etc.

I am thinking he was doing the "Look Squirrel" trick to steer other ammo buyers away from his source.

Your state laws will not have much if any effect on us outside of Calif. But I really want to know how you come to your conclusion that your state laws have any effect on out of state ammo availability? Is it that you think your state laws can be enforced in other states or do you just think your states shooters can buy up everything in the country and limit us out here? In either case "rotsa ruck".

i live in Nevada, im aware of the law, mainly because i participate on the Calguns forums

i don't think there will be the kind of run on ammo by California buyers, even stockpiling, to really put a dent in the overall market

probably won't be enough Cal stockpiling to upset the market, not by a long shot
