Box #1 on Monday of Match .308 175gr Sierra MatchKing. looks like it was crushed and then tumbled on high. I'm newer to the Match ammo market. If it was buck 308 I would not be so up tight. Ammo looks OK rolled some on a glass table and it seams ok. Here are some photos of the boxs. It looks like the plastic racks did there job.

mach shooters tell me if I'm just OCD-ing ?
    It's annealing, perfectly normal.

        It should be fine.

On a side note, my ammo orders from psa always came with shrink wrap holding the boxes together so the ammo didn't get loose and I never had a problem with it arriving. Sometimes it can take longer than others places, but it always showed up within two weeks of order date and worked fine

You might check the corner boxes in that one photo just to make sure none of the bullets got pushed farther into the cases. Other wise, shoot it.

SG Ammo - They have always double boxed every order I've rec. from them. Those pictures (from PSA) truly tell the tale about who shipped it and how much they care about YOU and YOUR Money!!

I have to ask. Are you on this earth?

I have received Amazon stuff shipped by UPS, USPS, FedEx and recently OnTrac.

                  This is OnTrac's method. https://youtu.be/RXS7E3QJ41U

And this article says they are starting to use random people using their personal vehicles. https://flex.amazon.com

I have twice contacted Jeff about the packaging. Oversized box with 2 blister pac items just bouncing around in the box. And the packing material is always on top of the item. No cushioning under the item.

As long as it is not tarnished, rusty, bent cases, or smashed soft point tipped it is fine.

Shipper should have double boxed. Cannot understand why they would not.

you guys should have seen how cabela's shipped my cases of shotgun ammo once.

the person who did the shipping that day just didn't give a f. the shipping labels were slapped on the case itself. no other packing and a piece of tape at each end.

both boxes had corners crushed which translated to the ammo itself. half a box from each case had shells where the hulls were dented in. and half the boxes in the case were just ripped at the seams so when i opened the case, they just fell apart when i took them out.

I bought a pair of $1500 Zeiss binoculars from Cabela's. They put it in a large box with two pieces of crumpled up paper for padding. The binocular box was beat to hell, I didn't notice any damage to the binoculars themselves.
