Hi there, I just stumbled on your ad and looks i have what you need. Let me know if you are still in the market. Best to reach me by e-mail kelvinpatricks12223@gmail.com . Send a list of items you are looking to buy and a phone number.

    Regards,

    kelvin patricks

I did end up emailing him and received an email later with a gun I wasn't asking for and him asking my address so he can ship to my front door... His post count is still at zero.

Unless that gun is exempt, or he knows you have that COE&FFL03 stuff?
Sounds very ambiguous that he says "I have what you need" instead of the make/model. Even if it was to be shipped the proper way and using an FFL where needed, it still feels like automated clickbait sales tactics that shouldn't be allowed.

I very much doubt it is anything but a scammer that will take the money and you get nothing.

If it was a Criminal or somebody twisting their sense of 2A to circumvent the law and perform an illegal sale, and conduct business, perhaps looking for other like minded criminals? Stay away.

I do recall reading a blurb about that calguns website will cooperate with DOJ asking for the data that proves illegal activity on the forums etc.

If it was DOJ, I don't think they'd ask for the info on their "agent" accounts, unless somebody took the bait.

What about undercover reporters trying to air a story about the 'silk road like calguns" where people "buy and sell freely through the mail"...bleh.

I think they side step calguns punishment because they offered it through email and not actually on site though. Very similar to people meeting "near a gunshow" and not at the gunshow? meh.

If the person sounds like a scam, feels like a scam, or the process is exploitable in anyway, don't go for it. The FFL helps you because they won't "steal a gun" from a seller, nor do paperwork until the gun is in shop. What if the buyer stiffs the seller?

That is an interesting question. When selling a gun via PPT, can the seller get their money on say day 5 of the waiting period and then stop the sale, and the FFL must return it and we're SOL?
The seller has to show up eventually for the ppt to go through, so at least there is identity involved there.

But can somebody get their cash, and literally just not show up to show ID or thumb print? or is that done as soon as the gun shows up, or the FFL won't take possession and return to sender/seller?

Lemme go read the ppt sticky.

Combine your scam with this one. http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s....php?t=1218012

Someone named Tommybahama300 claims to have the item you want. Here is a picture of the gun with his name "Tommybahama300" next to it.
