Any of you fine gentlemen are looking to get rid of those useless Glocks? As my signature says, I'm looking for a Glock 34 and Glock 27. The way you talk about them, I expect them to be lightly used, which suits me fine. Do I have to garble this message for you to consider my offer?

            Drunk posting?

That's what I got out of it after reading it about 30 times.

If that is what he is asking then the answer is Yes. You can sell the barrel or give it away, You just can't install it without permantly affixing the compensator.
In any type of fight, & especially gun fights, there are no winners ..... just varying degrees of losers. The only fight you win is the one you never get into.

Quite possible. I'll have to get drunk tonight then post on a few threads to see if they're similar.

This thread certainly proves a point. No matter how much you had to drink before you post a question, someone on this forum will be able to read and answer it.

Since no one has addressed this yet, if indeed he was asking about a threaded barrel on a Glock, wouldn't that make it a Felony even to possess it? Isn't is an assault weapon as it is threaded and can accept a supressor?

No. PC 12275 and the following sections define "assault weapons". The code sections only address weapons and features, not parts. The OP said that he had the barrel, not that it was installed. There is no "constructive possession" theory in CA state law that I am aware of relative to firearm parts. Possession of the barrel in question is not a violation of Federal law - the Feds really don't care about CA's quaint "assault weapons" laws.

Okay, didn't quite catch that part as I was lost in the creatively eloquent and artistic wordsmithing so wonderfully performed by the Original Poster.

BTW, the answer to the OP's actual question is, yes, he can give or sell the barrel to whomever he pleases. It's on them if they install it in a firearm and create an "assault weapon".
