I'm done with Polymer handguns

I'm not saying that they are junk but they just feel cheap. I'm selling the Glock I own and I'm switching over to all metal guns. They just feel better in my hands, or I'm getting old and just prefer the look and feel of an all steel gun. Either way, no more Polymer guns for me except my shield. I'm not going to give that up till I can get my hands on a CZ 2075 RAMI in 9mm

RAMI has an alloy frame. I loved my Glock but just love my CZ's , Sigs and 1911's more

Different strokes for different folks. There are good polymer guns and good metal guns. Everyone wins.

I just shoot better with alloy frame guns.

I had a Glock 19 for 20 years but shot better 1st time with P229.

Tried out HK USP 45 but shot better again with Sig P220.

Had Sig SP2022 but had to relearn it every range session.

Sold and traded all my polymer guns at Calguns and got four alloy SIG's plus S&W 686+. I shoot much better now... ;-)

I love shooting both but really like the polymer ones a lot more cause they are so much lighter. I went through the no polymer phase and sold the P320 and Glock 23 I had. I really tried to like the P226 but ended up selling it. Now I'm coming back to Glock. Just bought a new 19 and it felt just like home. I plan on getting a 22 and a 21 later this year. I'm lucky that I have medium sized hands that fit the Glock length of pull perfectly. I pull the trigger more with the inside of my knuckle than the pad of my finger. The Glock trigger works perfectly for me. Same pull everytime. I'll never buy another aluminum framed gun. From now on its either steel or polymer.

The only plastic guns I own are a Shield in both 9mm and .40.
Handled a Glock years ago and didn't care for the grip angle or weird feel to the trigger.

Some love them as shown by their popularity.

Too bad. But who knows, you may change your mind in the future. I would keep a couple, just for thst reason.

I personally like all types, polymer, alloy, and steel guns. Plus let's not forget ease of maintenance. For example, I can return a Glock to factory clean condition pretty darn fast, parts are cheap, and it is a great shooter. There is no other gun I could do that with as fast and my OCD sometimes flares up and I must, so some guns don't get shot as frequently because all I think about is crud getting into places I don't want to go digging in. And yes, I have completely torn down all my pistols at one point or another, including the VP9 (which is no joke with all the tiny bits)

Having said that, I think there is no better pistol than an all steel 1911. Mainly because of the trigger, but the weight helps too.

Well, it is your guns, your decisions. Just hope you don't go selling your stuff, wanting to get it back later when all you can get in the State are some monstrosities.

The Glock 19 fits my hand like a glove, and I shoot it very well, so that thing ain't going anywhere. At the same time, I just picked up a Ruger P89 from a 12 day jail stint today. Polymer, alloy, steel.......don't matter if it's a good gun.

I tend to prefer steel guns, but I don't dislike polymer. My Walther PPQ with 5 inch barrel is an amazing gun to shot. My first time out at 25 yards I was shooting 2 inch groups. It does feel light compared to My CZ's and 1911's but damn that is a nice gun.
