    Turkey Military Coup

Interesting that Turkey, with highly restrictive gun laws, is undergoing a military coup at the moment. As it progresses, I will be very diligent in looking into this matter as it regards to the right to bear arms. They started by detaining the police force(which they did with ease). I am interested in people's opinions.

Looks like the military is trying to prevent a dictatorship by the current president. Who by the way has arrested military officers, journalists and anyone else who spoke out against him. This is the same Turkish President that Obama supports. Enough said.

Isn't there something in Turkey's original charter that allows the military to do this to the current government?

              Nope, not enough.

Obama is decimating the higher lever military ranks here, has been for 7 years.

Upper brass are all his picks.

The same leader in Turkey who wants women to make babies... and said that women should not Laugh out loud in public....

Rather than being worried about women's laughter, Deputy Prime Minister Arinc and Prime Minister Erdogan should be more concerned about their government's increasing slide into authoritarian rule.

                SNIP
Turkish Deputy Prime Minster Bulent Arinc is the latest government official to put his foot in his mouth.

In a speech last week, this high-ranking official preached his perverted version of morality to Turkish women by telling them not to laugh in public! “A woman will know what is haram [forbidden] and not haram,” Arinc warned. “She will not laugh out loud in public. She will not be inviting in her attitudes and will protect her chasteness.”

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT
