I live in Orlando and sold a rifle to a guy in California. His FFL transfer dealer informed me about some crazy bullet button and ask if I was registered to send Rifles to California. Well I got on YouTube and figured out the bullet button. That took 5 minutes and then filled out the form to register with California FFL. It took 15 minutes and within two days I shipped their Spikes to their transfer dealer. Piece of cake.

Your doing better than a lot of people on here. Cannot use search function or figure out how to look for info. -
Thanks for dealing with it. I'm assuming your an FFL?
I've had Cali FFL's tell me that private individuals in other states needed to registered in order to send in firearms. So there is even confusion here with our own FFL's.
Only out of state FFL's need to register, private individuals do not.
I took in the print out form DOJ's web site explain the requirements to my go to FFL, since he also thought the private party I was buying from in Texas needed to be registered.Last edited by brianm767; 07-12-2016, 1:37 PM.Comment

I did have to send an invoice which I thought it was a little stupid. I know there is a guy invented some legal mag or whatever to legally get around the new ban.Comment
