          What firearms do you already own and what do you feel you are lacking in? Long range/medium game hunter, tactical/carbine, shotgun, 22lr, handgun?

            First, take stock of what you currently have in the way of firearms and ammo. Once done, decide on what you see as minimum amounts for both. That may yield your answer.

                        If you can find a deal on the rifle you want, grab it. I hate to say it but now is the time. Leaves you with time to sell it and at the very least break even if you have buyer's remorse in a couple months.
