AK Rifle vs Pistol. Sidefolding brace legality?

Hello!

So i know in CA rifle with a fold to side stock is illegal. My question is:
If it is not an ak rifle but and an ak pistol, can a brace (that is legally not a stock and not misused as one) be foldable to side on a pistol?

If not then why? Because it would make sense to me that it would be fine since it is a pistol and brace is not a stock.

So just FYI folding stock AK's are not illegal but just require some more things to make them CA legal. To answer your question, Yes you can put a brace on a AK pistol.
This is second time you have posted in the wrong sub forum. This should be in the Semi Auto forum and not the manually operated.

How can a fold to side stock be legal for civilian?

I am more interested in fold to side brace on a pistol. Is that possible? If yes the how?

Folding stock is legal as long as the pistol/rifle meets a certain length/overall length. I'm sure someone can chime in on that but that's why rifles that don't meet the 30in length why folded have longer muzzle breaks to meet that requirement. I'm no lawyer so don't take it as fact.

A Vertical Grip is Illegal on a Pistol in California...
There is No Over length Law for a Pistol...
Side folding Braces are Legal...
I Have 3 with side folders..
M85 and 92 and a Law side folder on my AR pistol.
