Isn't it odd that no one has publicly said that in LA or SF County? The authorities there would be so excited to take you up on that offer, they might show up the day before it goes into effect to stretch their legs.

Non-Compliance is useless unless they are aware of it.

So youre advocating police to advance on this citizen because he voiced his opinion in a constitutionally protected manner? He happens to publicly sum up what most/all of CG here think and believe but won't publicly fess up to.

This guy gives us freedom loving American gun owners a bad name. Let's feed him to a hippopotamus and divvy up his stash.
Gives us a bad name, how? Because he is speaking up, sacrificing himself to be the voice of freedom? More Americans ought to do it.

And as far as divvy up his stash after feeding him to a hippo, now you sound like a normal Californian. Redistribution of assets? Quite the liberal ideal.

He always has been, even when one of his deputies got shot point blank by a nut job when they went to serve an eviction notice. He never blamed the gun. Christiansen has no desire, or the time, to go kicking in doors for petty **** like standard capacity mags.

Second, if your intent is to not comply, that's fine, but for the love of Pete don't share it with the world! Now LE has probable cause on the guy and evidence to use in court against any criminal suit which may be brought against him in the future. This guy deserves to have his door kicked in and his house flashbanged and dragged out in cuffs.

This douche has made the classic mistake of painting all of LE with a broad brush, thinking because legislators have passed lame laws that LE is now the enemy. He couldn't be further from the truth. Most of them don't agree with the laws either and they will not be enforced en masse.

It has always amazed me how one can choose to be one of the kings guards, yet believe they are seperate from the king. Once you choose to be a part of a team, you are on that team.

What really makes it worse is when you do not even agree with the kings laws, yet still choose to be his enforcer.

Then to top it off, people get shocked when a wide brush is used to paint everyone the same.

I have quit many jobs because they did mesh with my morals, when you set your morals aside and continue working a job, you have indirectly condoned the actions you claim to not agree with.

I know many good officers and support law enforcement, but am always shocked when they believe they can some how be seperate from the very entity they work for and can`t believe they are cast in the same light as the king.

It is guilt by association..........just as if I was to hang with the hells angels, it would be foolish for me to believe I would not be seen as part of that group simply because I held some different beliefs.

Don`t get me wrong I fully support law enforcement and we need them to deal with ****bags, but it is unrealistic to believe people will not associate you with the oppressive law makers.

There are also some very outspoken law enforcement and sherriffs who leave no chance for it to be speculated where they stand.

Anyone who stands guard for the king will be considered as the kings men.....right or wrong that is just the way it works.

The police have a thankless job, that is certain, how to set yourself apart from the machine is a hard one and unclear.

People/society just lump people into groups.......even the church bikers who hold rallies to help kids or the vets get painted with the same brush and lumped into the hells angels catagory, by most people who can not understand the differences.

I hope that sheds alittle light on why when you work for the king and enforce the kings laws, it is hard for people the chew down that you are seperate/different from the king.

I talk with quite a few officers in my shop and when they get vocal about certain laws or tell me what they think about it, I know where they stand.........perhaps if more officers spoke up in some way about the state of things and how they feel, more citizen support would be there.......not sure what the answer is.

But it is clear people are getting a very sour outlook on law enforcement and I would like to see that change........just not sure what the solution is, but something needs to be done soon to correct the publics perception.
